Last year a new program was developed called TURBOIP, this uses information from the QS0 and QS4 pickups. Data from this program was analysised by the experiments, and will be used to help establish the vertex position.
IPXXPR is thus redundant and its output will be supressed.
TURBOIP calculates from both left and right of the IP, resulting in two numbers per experiment. Views for each of the experiments have been created.
V_L3_TURBOIP
V_ALEPH_TURBOIP
V_OPAL_TURBOIP
V_DELPHI_TURBOIP
A select from any of these views will return TWO records with the following attributes:
timestamp,
side -- LEFT = 0 RIGHT = 1
x_p -- Positron horizontal position
xpr_p -- Positron horizontal angle
y_p -- Positron vertical position
ypr_p -- Positron vertical angle
x_e -- Electron horizontal position
xpr_e -- Electron horizontal angle
y_e -- Electron vertical position
ypr_e -- Electron vertical angle
Position is in microns, angle in microradians. Unlike IPXXPR no errors are returned.
(A lot of effort has gone into the analysis of the 95 results via the "Interaction Region" subgroup of the LEP2 workshop.)
